On the road again...

Checking out of my hotel in Muskegon, Michigan in just under 3 hours. I had a fantastic time! I made some really friends and fellow artists bringing about so much upcoming opportunity! I fly to LA at 5 :) Audition tomorrow in Loz Feliz which hopefully I'll nail!

Lies

Hey guys! Today was fantastic! Just wrapped up a long day consisting of Lloyd Kaufman's master class, watching my movie "Lies" premier on the big screen and finished it all of taking pictures with Richard Elfman in our matching over-sized underwear (over our clothes) then boozing at the bar next to the festival. He and his wife were a delight. I hope I'll be coming back to Michigan in the fall to star in Tom Berdinski's next film! Cross your fingers...one more day here in beautiful Muskegon, MI then off to LA! Good night or should I say good morning world!?

Today :)

Lloyd Kaufman is awesome! Just got back from his master class :) We took a break to see "Lies". Everyone loved it! Yay! I had so much fun with the other filmmaker students and it  looks like I'll be starring in another feature! I get to kick some butt!

Lakeside Film Festival update

Just got back from the festival. "Howl" was so good. James Franco really nailed it. I met the super talented and friendly Lloyd Kaufman. Tomorrow I'm taking his master class and watching my film! "Lies" I'm really excited to see it and have him and another filmmaker, the director of "The Italian Zombie Movies", watch it! What an honor. Well gotta get ready for bed. Continental breakfast and early class :)

Spur of the moment trip!

I'm in Muskegon, Michigan! Why you ask? I learned on on Tuesday May 18 that the film "Lies" I starred in would be making it's premier showing on the big screen here at the Lakeside Film Festival...so since I'm crazy I decided I was going to buy a ticket that day to fly to Michigan 2 days later then fly to Los Angeles on Monday for an audition and hopefully some more opportunity and meetings with important people :) While in Michigan by myself..what will I do? Well, first I rented a car, got a free upgrade..cruising in my cool little Jetta singing Lady Gaga with my windows down enjoying the scenery...48 miles later I'll take the local route instead of business route by mistake and have to re-route just about 7 miles from my hotel now..."oh look, Wal-Mart I can buy all the things I wasn't allowed to fly with then go check-in" -my thought process. Shop, dilly dally come out to my car and OMG someone smashed into it and left and guess who elected to NOT pay for rental insurance?! :( Yes, now this spur of the moment trip that had already left this pay check to pay check performer broke has now cost me an additional $500! and they wanted me to pay it on the spot...so I cried and I will just owe it to them when I get back to Florida and need to borrow money from mom who also can't afford it...jeeze a lesson learned indeed!
