Spur of the moment trip!

I'm in Muskegon, Michigan! Why you ask? I learned on on Tuesday May 18 that the film "Lies" I starred in would be making it's premier showing on the big screen here at the Lakeside Film Festival...so since I'm crazy I decided I was going to buy a ticket that day to fly to Michigan 2 days later then fly to Los Angeles on Monday for an audition and hopefully some more opportunity and meetings with important people :) While in Michigan by myself..what will I do? Well, first I rented a car, got a free upgrade..cruising in my cool little Jetta singing Lady Gaga with my windows down enjoying the scenery...48 miles later I'll take the local route instead of business route by mistake and have to re-route just about 7 miles from my hotel now..."oh look, Wal-Mart I can buy all the things I wasn't allowed to fly with then go check-in" -my thought process. Shop, dilly dally come out to my car and OMG someone smashed into it and left and guess who elected to NOT pay for rental insurance?! :( Yes, now this spur of the moment trip that had already left this pay check to pay check performer broke has now cost me an additional $500! and they wanted me to pay it on the spot...so I cried and I will just owe it to them when I get back to Florida and need to borrow money from mom who also can't afford it...jeeze a lesson learned indeed!
